Our organization began by providing immediate solutions to intolerable circumstances. Over the years, we’ve added proactive support to help our fellow Yidden get ahead - and stay ahead - of common problems that impact their lives.
These opportunities for growth are by no means limited to the people weathering life’s storms. We view chesed as a landmark moment for neighbors to help their fellow Jews in fundamental, life-altering ways, while preserving the privacy and dignity of those who receive support. Communal achrayis is foundational for Jewish life, and Jewish communities around the world build resilience through the work of chesed organizations, their donors, and their volunteers. Rockland County is no exception. When we assist those in need, every one of us benefits from the fortified communal infrastructure serving the entire Rockland Jewish community.
